| Processing information | Prepare the substrate in the desired manner at least twice with highly diluted HYDRO or HYDRO-PU paint, coating lacquers or primers and allow to dry for at least 16 h / 20 °C. Sanding is not necessary before applying the wiping stain. The wiping stain is applied using a spray gun, brush or bale. After the wiping stain has dried, carefully rub the wood surface with steel wool so that the material only remains in the pores. Remove any remaining haze by re-sanding with 400 grain. Then top coat with aqueous or solvent-based paint.NOTE: Removal with sanding fleece, ABRALON or sanding paper can result in sanding marks, which will tint! Therefore, first remove the dry surplus with steel wool and then sand with ABRALON 1000. Or remove the wiping stain directly when wet, allow to dry and then remove the haze with sanding fleece, ABRALON or fine sanding paper. |
