
COOL-FILL HP 6645-(colour tone)
Our 1C Isolating filler has thixotropic adjustment and powerful filling. It is therefore suitable as a filling primer for closed-pore lacquer finishes with good hold on vertical surfaces. Acrylate-based COOL-FILL can be sanded by machine and in addition to HYDRO Colour lacquers it can be recoated using PU Colour lacquers. COOL-FILL HP 6645-9343 in association with HB 65285-(colour tone) is certified under the "Dubai Green Building" regulations and is classified as low-flammable according to DIN EN 13501-1.

Processing information | When directly coating cleaned or sanded foils, please apply a test coat to check the bonding! Clean tools with water. For removal of dried lacquer residues use Hesse HYDRO Cleaning agent HV 6917. In case of combined coatings (HYDRO- and solvent based lacquers) rinse application tools with Hesse HYDRO Reversing agent HV 6904. This product must only be combined with other approved and technically suitable products when used as a flame retardant coating material for seagoing vessels according to the latest version of SOLAS 74/88 Reg. II-2/3, II-2/5 and II-2/6, IMO Resolution MSC.36(63)-(1994 HSC-Code) 7 and IMO Resolution MSC.97(73)-(2000 HSC-Code) 7. The maximum application amount in wet film when using this product as a flame retardant coating material for seagoing vessels is 150 g/m².By adding up to 5% COOL-COLOR colour lacquer or HYDRO colour pastes, the COOL-FILL can be coloured in pastel shades if required. Please note that this can have an influence on the rheology, the covering/filling power and the polish. |
Special notes | The use of HYPERION TD 130 is recommended to prevent yellowing when COOL-FILL HP 6645-9343 is used in combination with light colour tones of COOL-COLOR HB 65285-(colour tone) on content-rich woods such as oak or ash. Exotic woods or extremely resinous knotty pine should be primed in advance using transparent PU Isolating primer DG 4720-0001. A trial coating may be required. Hevea brasiliensis should be isolated in advance using COOL-PROTECT HI 6600-9343. More detailed information is respectively available via HYPERION TD 130, PU Isolating primer DG 4720-0001 and COOL-PROTECT HI 6600-9343.“A risk assessment has been conducted in accordance with Directive 2014/90/EU, Annex II, Section 3.
