HYPERION TI 130
HYPERION sets new standards in the finishing of rich woods such as Oak and enables the perfect implementation of aqueous surface finishes in white and pastel shades. This innovative, water-based product has been specially developed to prevent unwanted yellow discoloration, which often occurs during the application of white stains and lacquers. By forming a highly effective insulating layer, HYPERION reliably blocks tanning agents and thus ensures a permanently radiant white.
Thanks to its unique formula, HYPERION is compatible with both water-based and solvent-based lacquers in combination with HYDRO stains. It not only preserves the luminosity of white pigmented stains, but also reduces the subsequent roughening caused by the water-based stain. The simple application - whether by brush or spray gun - makes the product the ideal solution.
In combination with a HYDRO filling power and a white-pigmented HYDRO color lacquer, HYPERION effectively prevents any yellowing of the surface and ensures a uniform, radiant appearance. In addition, the product can also be used under clear water-based varnishes to prevent unwanted color changes and preserve the natural beauty of the wood.

| Processing information | Application:HYPERION is applied in the same way as a conventional stain, either by spraying process or with a brush. After a drying time of approx. 2 hours at room temperature, further processing can take place. Intermediate sanding after insulation is not necessary, but light smoothing can be carried out if required (do not sand through!). Staining:After applying the stain, Finish with water or solvent-based paints to achieve an optimum protective and color effect.Colored coating:For coloured paint finishes, COOL-FILL and COOL-COLOR can be applied and further processed as usual. When processing with color lacquers, make sure that HYPERION is applied in a maximum layer thickness of 40 g/m² to ensure uniform coloring and optimum adhesion.With the wood species Hevea, discoloration can only be partially prevented with HYPERION. For optimum results, we recommend the use of COOL-PROTECT HI 6600-9343.Transparent coating:When finishing with COOL-TOP on dark, ingredient-rich wood types (not stained), a slight lightening effect can occur depending on the type of wood. This should be taken into account during processing. |
