Areas of application

In the living area for parquet and wooden floors as translucent primer under Hesse PUA-ONE or PUA-NATURA, primarily on oak. Minimizes discolouration from oak upon contact with HYDRO lacquer systems. Also for stairs and handrails.

Processing information Properly harden the product and then thinly apply with a trowel or roller. Then immediately pad / rub in. Large surfaces should be treated by 2 people. The floor must first be sanded back to the bare wood and be dry and free from oil, grease, wax, silicones and sanding dust. After drying for 16 h / 20 °C room temperature with sufficient air circulation, the surface is sealed with suitable 2C HYDRO finishes, preferably with PURA-NATURA or PURA-ONE.
Special notes Pot life of the mixture: 1 hour at 20 °C room-temperature. The product is not suitable for woods susceptible to blue stain in damp rooms. The material dries with oxidation – please observe the general application instructions. Skin may form due to the high reactivity. Please remove before agitating. Subsequently the material should be filtered as a precaution. Storage class as per German Industrial Health and Safety Regulations (BetrSichV): Highly flammable. Please observe the latest version of the material safety data sheet!

Procedure example

Wooden floors, oak, white

Wood sanding: 150 grit with subsequent dust removal.

Fill using 1 - 2 x 20 - 40 g/m² Hesse PRIMER-WHITE-OIL OB 52892-77, mixing ratio (by volume) 25 : 1 with Hardener OR 5180 and then immediately pad it in.

Intermediate drying: 16 h / 20 °C room temperature with sufficient air circulation.

Sealing: 2 x 100 - 120 g/m² Hesse PURA-NATURA, mixing ratio (by volume) 10 : 1 with Hardener HDR 72.

Intermediate drying: ideally 16 h / 20 °C room temperature with sufficient air circulation.

Lacquer sanding: 120 / 150 sanding screen with subsequent dust removal.

Accessible: after 24 h / 20 °C room temperature with sufficient air circulation.

Full resilience is achieved: after 7 d / 20 °C room temperature with sufficient air circulation.
