Priming stain BG (colour tone) for spraying and wiping off
Hesse Priming stains BG combine pigment and dyestuff properties in a beneficial manner: the brilliance and luminosity of the dyestuffs are complemented by the levelling capacity and enhanced light fastness of the pigments. The emphasis of the pores can also be influenced at the same time. The result is a brilliant to slightly muted stain appearance without prominent emphasis of the pores. The colour tone to be achieved depends on the type of wood.

Processing information | Spray the stain to form excess. Stir stains well before and during processing. Alternatively it can also be worked with a brush or sponge. Wipe evenly with a wiping brush after applying the stain. We recommend small spray nozzle sizes for stains that are to be sprayed but not subsequently wiped. Although large spray nozzle sizes are advisable when spraying stains that are subsequently to be wiped. |
Special notes | Hesse stains are matched to each type of wood in terms of colour tone and processing. Further application methods are possible. All stains from the same range can be mixed with one another. Lighten by adding water. Can be tinted with colour concentrates in the range: BP 30xx and BP 3570 NEW. Discolorations may arise due to priming with HYDRO Lacquers on woods with a high proportion of soluble wood contents (such as oak). We therefore recommend a PU Basecoat, particularly in the case of pastel or white colour tones. Spraying with wiping is used in preference on coarse-pored woods like oak, ash or mahogany. The copious excess and its subsequent incorporation by means of wiping with a brush provides better wetting of the pores. |
