The mechanical and chemical resistance of the surface will be increased by hardening at 10 : 1 (by volume or by weight) using Hardener OR 5170. The mixture must be used within 2 h / 20 °C room temperature. The hardener contains isocyanate. Please observe safety instructions; see the safety data sheet. |
Special notes | On dark woods such as walnut and alder, the equalising effect can be undesirable. The material contains no oils that dry by oxidation and therefore develops no heat while drying. There is therefore no danger of self-ignition of cloths/pads wetted with the product. When using products such as Proterra CEROL, e.g. GE 12006-2001, as end finish. Please observe the instructions for handling of oxidative (self-igniting) materials. See technical information for the products in question. |
