Special notes | For use as MDF edge sealant under coloured coating systems. Dilute the lacquer/hardener mixture for the PU Multicoat lacquer DE 4252x with 20 - 30 % DV 4900. Apply another coat on the very same day, after prior sanding with grit 320 - 400. This product only has limited suitability for top-coating coloured surfaces. Complete resistance to ring stains is not achieved on account of the slightly abrasive surface texture. For this we recommend the use, for example, of a PU Multicoat lacquer from the DE 4259x(gloss level) range or a PU Multicoat lacquer from the DE 4503x(gloss level) range. At hardening, mixing 5 : 1 PU hardener DR 4070 with PU Multicoat lacquer DE 4252x(gloss level) increases abrasion resistance and additionally enables use even on bleached surfaces. |
