Processing information Hesse WOOD-FILL should be well shaken before applying. Adding very fine sanding dust (K80), prepare a paste that can be applied with a palette knife. Sanding dust from the edge strips is particularly well suited. The finer the sanding dust, the better the bond in the joints. Hand filling: use a rust free steel palette knife (Contact with oxidising metals leads to discolouration of the substances and the filled surfaces). The Fill the joints across the entire parquet surface to be treated; pre-fill wide joints or fill them twice. Clean work equipment with water.] [Dried lacquer residue can be removed with Hesse CLEANING-AGENT DV 9.] [Sanding dust mixtures that are too stiff can be diluted with Hesse WOOD-FILL if required, do not use water. Intermediate cutting back drum sander: grit 100 - 120, Final sanding with single-disc orbital sander: 120 - 150 grit followed by dust removal. There must not be any filler remnants left on the surface - Risk of blotching! Thorough dust removal from the sanded surface prior to further processing.
Special notes Do not pour the product into metal containers! Critical substrates such as wood block, on-edge lamellar parquet, floor boards, parquet flooring on underfloor heating, etc. require proper pre-treatment with PRIMER HG 21, PRIMER-PLUS HG 22 or suitable oil-based primers to minimise the risk of lateral bonding.

Procedure example

Mosaic parquet, oak

Wood sanding: 100 grit/screen.

Mix Hesse WOOD-FILL with clean oak sanding dust, 100 grit. Surface: fill extensively 1 x using the Hesse WOOD-FILL/sanding dust mixture.

Sealing: 2 - 3 x 100 - 120 g/m² Hesse UNA-ELITE using a suitable roller.

Intermediate drying: in each case at least 2 - 3 h, preferably overnight at 20 °C room temperature with sufficient air circulation.

Lacquer sanding: in each case 120 - 150 grit/screen with subsequent dust removal.
