Durable stone coating
on wood, wood materials, plastic and many more surfaces.
Solid stone is heavy, often cumbersome and complicated to install. The lacquered alternative is lighter and quite uncomplicated. PLANET-STONE makes it possible to coat wood, wood materials, plastic and many other substrates with real stone pigments .
Once completed, you will not see or feel any difference from real stone, the surfaces are extremely durable, easy to clean and meet the requirements of DIN 68861-1B with the PU base.
PLANET-STONE is made of a range of ten stone powders. Other colour variations can be achieved with PLANET-STONE by applying a light or dark basecoat onto the substrate before lacquering. PLANET-STONE is traditionally applied with a paint gun onto the HYDRO or PU base lacquer when still wet. Alternatively the powder can be scattered by hand. Subsequently applying a final clear top coat creates a smoother surface and offers more gloss options.
PLANET-STONE also definitely scores highly on sustainability. No massive stone extraction takes place in our planet’s stone quarries. The stone powder comes from cutting slabs of real stone, thus providing a further sustainable use.

To overcome the hurdle of heavy weight and time-consuming installation, PLANET-STONE offers completely new interior design possibilities: stone staircases, kitchen worktops, stone wall designs, bathroom furnishings or special features in building projects. Everything your visual imagination can conjure up made from stone can be practically implemented by joinery work in interior design. Your individual part geometries are enhanced with real stone pigments , whilst remaining robust, easy-to-clean and even harder than stone.
The PLANET-STONE effect offers you truly limitless possibilities. The colour tone of the basecoat has a decisive influence on the end result. You also have the option of creating a different look even for this substrate by, for instance, lacquering a particular design (eg. your logo) in a second colour tone. Creativity is at the forefront with this effect. Your ideas, your objects, can be easily transformed into stone. This video demonstrates how the effect is created. PLANET-STONE is coated in our Innovation Centre with stone powder in the lacquer and the large nozzle in the spray gun.
