HYDRO Colour stain BC (colour tone) for spraying
Hesse Colorbeize BC is a pure pigment stain for achieving transparent to opaque stain images. The specially selected pigments enable high brilliance and transparency. The structure of the wood is covered to a greater or lesser extent depending on the color depth. This also allows color tones to be achieved that are lighter than the wood's own color. The light fastness
of color stains represents the maximum achievable among all stains. Opaque color tones can be adjusted according to RAL, Sikkens or NCS color charts, for example. The color tone to be achieved depends on the type of wood.

Processing information | The HYDRO stain is sprayed on with a cup gun (1.2-1.5 mm nozzle, approx. 2 bar spray pressure, throttled stain supply if necessary) in a uniformly moist, not wet(!) cross coat. Any surplus is not wiped off! Multiple, thin, quasi patina-like fogging by spraying results in a particularly uniform stain pattern. |
Special notes | Hesse stains are matched to the respective wood species in terms of color tone and processing. Other types of application are available. All stains in the same series can be mixed with each other. Brightening by adding water. Can be tinted with color concentrates from the series: BP 30xx and BP 3570 NEW. In the case of wood types with a high proportion of water-soluble wood constituents (e.g. Oak), discoloration may occur when priming with HYDRO lacquers. We therefore recommend a PU primer, especially for pastel or white color tones. For fine-pored woods, which sometimes have a somewhat uneven, swirly wood structure, such as beech, maple and cherry tree, spray application without wiping is preferred. Due to the uniform spray application, each wood area receives the same amount of stain, which results in better equalization. |
