WETPROTECT-OIL OE 52068
WETPROTECT-OIL is a mixture of natural oils and natural oils modified with alkyd resins. This thin-bodied oil has excellent penetration properties and produces superb grain accentuation. It impregnates the wood fibres particularly well and thus better protects the substrate against the effects of moisture. It is therefore particularly suitable as an additional, first impregnation layer in combination with other high quality oils, especially when used in kitchens, bathrooms and other moist environments. This product is not classified according to the CLP Regulation and is only formulated with cobalt- and lead-free siccatives and carefully selected mild smelling solvents. It does not contain fungicides or herbicides.

Processing information | It is preferable to apply 1 generous coat of WETPROTECT-OIL on the expertly prepared surface. Allow an absorption period of 5 - 10 min / 20 °C room temperature and then rub the oil in well using a fine pad or the like. Subsequently remove any excess using something like a lint-free cotton cloth until the surface appears evenly dry. The next layer of suitable oil can be applied after a drying time of around 6 h, preferably 16 h / 20 °C room temperature.Even 2 coats of WETPROTECT-OIL can be applied if required. This increases the wood’s water resistance. |
