You will find suitable coating solutions in our programme when there are requirements for specific certification systems, such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council), Green Building or even certain DIBT approvals (Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik – German Institute for Structural Engineering). The use of sustainable and ecologically appropriate building fittings is very important to us. In addition to our in-house tests, we always have our products assessed and certified by external testing institutes.

Throughout a new building at the University of Hohenheim there are interior fittings in completely natural, optically naked wood, which is, however, “perfectly attired”. It is where architects Markus Lanz and Nicolas Schwager have created a real showpiece. The PURA-NATURA HYDRO lacquer used on silver fir is particularly matt, and it in no way changes the intrinsic colour of the wood. The surfaces are particularly scratch resistant, light fast and resilient – even in terms of footprints and common household chemicals. A true commitment to the environment and sustainable protection for the wood.
