Which property is important?
How to choose the best hardener for you
What process do you use to coat high gloss and which property must the lacquer fulfil? Do you need the fastest drying, do you often have to coat upright pieces? Is dust incursion a special requirement or does your surface need to have the highest chemical resistance ? For each special feature in terms of initial drying, stacking, lacquer sanding, polishing capability or scratch resistance just select the matching hardener. You can for example use our universal Hardener DR 4071 for the complete FANTASTIC family, but it’s better to choose our DR 4078 if you need the highest chemical resistance .

This demonstrates how the most attractive high gloss surfaces are created in our Innovation Centre. The beautiful images enable us to directly show two variants: firstly the brilliant coating of opaque coloured surfaces and secondly a high gloss coating on precious Makassar veneer that already has a basecoat. Right at the start you can see the various hardener options, in each case with an indication as to which property is fulfilled.
