Transform flat glass into mirror surfaces
Hesse PU Mirror lacquer is a light fast PU Effect lacquer for coating onto glass. This fast-drying lacquer material has good adhesion properties and is particularly suitable for striking and creative surface accents on white glass. It acquires an antique effect when a special agent is added to the Mirror lacquer.
Fields of application : in the complete field of interior fittings on white glass within living areas, but also on textured glass.
How to – Mirror effect
- Object furnishing, textured glass; substrate preparation: Use Cleaning thinner ZD 101 to carefully clean and degrease the textured glass
- Coating: 1 x 60 - 80 g/m² PU Mirror lacquer DB 46334-M0966, mixing ratio (by volume) 25 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4076-0002
- Intermediate drying: 15 - 30 min / 20 °C
- Use a gauze rag and light pressure to clean any spray mist from surfaces
- Top coat: 1 x 100 - 120 g/m² UNA-COLOR Glass colour lacquer DB 42105-1013, mixing ratio (by volume) 5 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4076-0001 and addition of 5 – 10 % Thinner DV 4900 to the lacquer/ hardener mixture.
- Packable: after drying for at least 16 h / 20 °C
- Ready for assembly or gluing: after 5 d / 20 °C
- Glass partition wall with Antique effect
- Surface preparation: Use Cleaning thinner ZD 101 to carefully clean and degrease the glass
- Effect creation: Spray Effect agent DZ 4992-05856 thinly onto the edges of the glass surface.
- After brief intermediate drying, use moistened greaseproof paper to dab on the desired effect.
- Then coat with 60 - 80 g/m² PU Mirror lacquer DB 46334-M0966, mixing ratio (by volume) 25 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4076-0002.
- Intermediate drying: 15 - 30 min / 20 °C
- Use a gauze rag and light pressure to clean any spray mist from surfaces
