An especially attractive dull matt surface finish
PU SOFT-GRIP DU 44130 is a clear two-component PU Top coat that provides a pleasantly soft and dull matt surface feel. Many effect ideas in line with the general trend can be produced on transparent Hesse PU Basecoats or pastel colour tones in the Hesse colour lacquer series DB 45245-(colour tone).

Sideboard fronts made of MDF with foil coating in the colour tone signal grey and dull matt SOFT-GRIP effect
- Surface sanding: Grit 320 - 400 (dust removal) Edge and profile
- sanding: 150 - 180 grit (dust removal)
- Primer: 1 x 150 - 200 g/m² FANTASTIC-FILL DP 4755-9343, mixing ratio (by volume) 10 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4071, addition of thinner to the lacquer/hardener mixture 15 % DV 4900
- Drying: > 2 h / 20 °C, better 16 h / 20 °C Filler
- sanding: Grit 320 - 400 (dust removal)
- Colour lacquer finish: 1 x 100 - 150 g/m² UNA-COLOR DB 45245-7004 (signal grey), mixing ratio (by volume) 10 : 1 with PU hardener DR 4070, thinner 10 - 20 % DV 4900.
- Top coat: 1 x 130 - 160 g/m² PU SOFT-GRIP DU 44130, mixing ratio (by volume) 5 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4078, addition of thinner to the lacquer/hardener mixture of 10 - 15 % DV 4900
- Drying: > 16 h / 20 °C

Products required
General information:PU lacquers should not be used or dried at material or room temperatures below 18°C and 40 % RH. Ideal values: 20 - 25 °C, 50 - 65 % RH. Deviations may result in drying or respectively hardening defects. Please sand back PU lacquered surfaces before applying fresh lacquer, and coat the sanded surfaces as soon as possible to avoid adhesion problems. Old lacquer/ hardener mixtures can affect your surface quality (adhesion/ resistance properties). Freshly bleached wood must be intermediately dried for at least 48 h / 20 °C prior to coating with suitable PU lacquers. Final hardness of the coating is achieved after one week in correct storage conditions (at least 20 °C room temperature). Please apply a test coating under real conditions!
