We have reached an important milestone on the road to a greener future.
The switch from heating oil to pellets and the commissioning of a 6,800 m² photovoltaic system mark the beginning of a new chapter in our company's history.
For Hesse, the decision to switch from heating oil to pellets is more than just a technical change – it is a strategic step towards a sustainable future. Pellets consist mainly of wood waste and by-products from the wood industry, which serve as an environmentally friendly and resource-saving heating source. We only use certified pellets that are produced under sustainable conditions.
This decision has several advantages:
In December 2024, we took another important step in the frame of our sustainability strategy: the commissioning of a photovoltaic system with a total area of 6,800 m² and a power output of 1,500 kWp. With a total of 3,400 PV modules, the system makes a significant contribution to the use of renewable energies and the promotion of the energy transition.
Our photovoltaic system offers a wide range of advantages:
With these two investments in renewable energies – the switch to pellet heating and the photovoltaic system – we are sending a clear signal in favour of sustainability and resource conservation.
Every step towards a more sustainable future counts. We will continue to pursue innovative solutions to reduce our CO₂ emissions and make a positive contribution to the energy transition.
