Processing information | Hardening of FANTASTIC-NATURA dark wood in a mixing ratio (by volume) of 10 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4071 is recommended! However, FANTASTIC-NATURA dark wood can optionally be processed in a mixing ratio (by volume) of 10 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4070. When hardening with DR 4070, we do not recommend coating wooden surfaces in damp rooms or kitchens. A slight deviation in the brightening effect in the hardening between DR 4071 and DR 4070 cannot be ruled out. A hardener type should therefore be agreed within a project. Please note that Hesse FANTASTIC-NATURA dark wood DA 48840 is only tested and approved for coatings in ship interiors in a mixing ratio (volume) of 10 : 1 with DR 4071. |
Special notes | Adding a maximum of 2 % SUN-EX ZD 9501 Light protection agent in relation to the base lacquer can be effective in delaying wood discoloration due to UV radiation. It is not possible to apply a combination coating of FANTASTIC-NATURA DA 48660 with FANTASTIC-NATURA dark wood DA 48840!This product is only permitted to be combined with other approved and technically suitable products if it is to be used as a low-flammable coating for seagoing vessels in accordance with SOLAS 74 Reg.
