Processing information The effect is influenced by the spray nozzle size, the air pressure and the addition of thinner! Hardening 5 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4076-0001 after mixing in 5 % Hesse Glass lacquer additive EL 460-0025 to the lacquer component also enables direct lacquering on glass after proper cleaning. Please note that Hesse PU Metallic DB 4263x (gloss level)-(colour tone) is only tested and approved for coatings in ship interiors in the mixing ratio (by volume) 10 : 1 with DR 4070.
Special notes Metallic paints must be applied uniformly. The application quantities, application methods and drying conditions influence the color tone and effect. Depending on the desired surface and substrate, pre-priming is possible, e.g. with Hesse PU insulating filler DP 4791-9343, FANTASTIC-FILL DP 4755-9343 or UNA-COLOR DB 45245-(color tone) or UNA-THIX-COLOR DB 45205-(color tone). For optimized chemical and mechanical resistance, as well as for individual gloss level design, the metallic lacquer can be overcoated after 4 - 6 h / 20 °C without Intermediate sanding of the lacquer, e.g. with UNA-PU DE 4259x(gloss level), FANTASTIC-CLEAR DE 4877x(gloss level), FANTASTIC-CLEAR ULTRAMAT DE 48770-0, MEGA-PU DE 4503x(gloss level), PU NANO-TOP DU 45540 or FANTASTIC-BRILLANT DU 48799.For copper, respectively golden color tones of the color tone series DB 4263x(gloss level)-(color tone), as well as individual discolorations with these color tone series, a transparent Top coat is mandatory to avoid corrosion spots within < 2 h / 20 °C!For normal dry cleaning, we recommend using a soft dust cloth. Microfiber or leather cloths are suitable for wet cleaning. Dampen the cloth with water, wring it out and clean with a damp cloth. Sharp household cleaners or abrasive substances are unsuitable! When used as a low-flammable coating for seagoing vessels in accordance with SOLAS 74 Reg. II-2/3, II-2/5, II-2/6 and X/3, latest version, IMO Resolution MSC.36(63)-(1994 HSC Code) 7, IMO Resolution MSC.97(73)-(2000 HSC Code) 7, IMO MSC/Circ. 1120, this product can only be combined with other approved and technically suitable products.
