PICEA Softwood stain WN / WNS (colour tone)

The PICEA Softwood stain WN produces brilliantly clear stain images with a positive effect. The colour of the dark rings in the softwood are enhanced. The stains are universally applicable in solvent- and water-based lacquer systems.

PICEA Softwood stains WNS also contain pigments for white to pastel-coloured colour tones under PUR lacquers. Dyes from the latest generation produce glowing and light-stable stain images. However, the stain colour card XBK 7 with 15 beautiful softwood colour tones for colour consultations with your customers completes the offer

Areas of application

PICEA positive stains are used on European softwoods like pine, fir and larch. A significantly positive effect is achieved on sanded, brushed and hewn wood, just as desired on interior fittings and in furniture making.

Processing information Apply lightly and evenly by spraying without spreading. Do not forcibly dry. Stir stains well before and during processing.
Special notes Soap resinous woods (e.g. pine, Carolina pine) with BZ 850 before staining. All stains in the same series can be mixed with each other.

Pine/fir cupboard wall unit, dull matt

Stain: 1 x 50 g/m² Hesse PICEA Softwood stain WN 20103

Basecoat: 1 x 100 - 120 g/m² DE 45550-0008, mixing ratio (by volume) 10 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 470

Intermediate drying: 30 - 60 min / 20 °C

Lacquer sanding: 280 - 320 grit (dust removal)

Top coat: 1 x 100 - 120 g/m² DE 45550-0008, mixing ratio (by volume) 10 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 470

Packable: after at least 16 h / 20 °C
