Priming stain BG (colour tone) for spraying and wiping off
Hesse BG priming stains combine pigment and dyestuff properties in a sensible way: the brilliance and luminosity of the dyestuffs are complemented by the levelling properties and increased light fastness of the pigments. At the same time, the emphasis of the pores can be influenced. The result is a brilliant to slightly covered stain image without a marked emphasis of the pores. The color tone to be achieved depends on the type of wood.

Processing information | Spray the stain to form excess. Stir stains well before and during processing. Alternatively it can also be worked with a brush or sponge. Wipe evenly with a wiping brush after applying the stain. We recommend small spray nozzle sizes for stains that are to be sprayed but not subsequently wiped. Although large spray nozzle sizes are advisable when spraying stains that are subsequently to be wiped. |
Special notes | Hesse stains are matched to the respective wood species in terms of color tone and processing. Other types of application are available. All stains in the same series can be mixed with each other. Brightening by adding water. Can be tinted with color concentrates from the series: BP 30xx and BP 3570 NEW. In the case of wood types with a high proportion of water-soluble wood constituents (e.g. Oak), discoloration may occur when priming with HYDRO lacquers. We therefore recommend a PU primer, especially for pastel or white color tones. Spray application with wiping is preferred for coarse pored woods such as Oak, Ash, Mahogany. The pores are better wetted due to the rich surplus and subsequent incorporation by wiping with a brush. |
