PU ADAMANT DU 48999
ADAMANT is a clear and extremely scratch-resistant high gloss lacquer. This easy to apply and light fast lacquer material can be polished and buffed after a 16 h drying time. With a solids content of 70% the product is Decopaint compliant and formulated to be process oriented. The finished surface exhibits chemical resistance as per DIN 68861 1A.

ADAMANT is perfectly suited for all interior fittings, including those in kitchens, bathrooms and ship interiors, as a top coat on clear Hesse PU base coats or Hesse PU colour lacquers.

Special notes | ADAMANT can be polished and buffed after at least 16 h / 20 °C. Forced drying is possible up to a maximum of 30 °C. Pre-priming is an option depending on the desired surface requirements and the substrate material, e.g. using clear Hesse PU Basecoats DG 4717-0005, DG 4760, DG 4750 and with Hesse PU Colour lacquers DB 45245-(colour tone), DB 45205-(colour tone) and DB 48885-(colour tone). Due to ADAMANT’s inherent colouring, check colour tones in advance when finishing with colour lacquers! The addition of 10 - 30 % thinner to the lacquer/hardener mixture should be adapted according to the component and application conditions. This product is not suitable for use on bleached surfaces!This product must only be combined with other approved and technically suitable products when used as a flame retardant coating material for seagoing vessels according to the latest version of SOLAS 74 Reg. II-2/3, II-2/5, II-2/6 and X/3, as amended, IMO Resolution MSC.36(63)-(1994 HSC-Code) 7, IMO Resolution MSC.97(73)-(2000 HSC-Code) 7, IMO MSC/Circ. 1120. The maximum application amount in wet film when using this product as a flame retardant coating material for seagoing vessels is 65 g/m².“A risk assessment was undertaken according to Directive 2014/90/EU, Annex II, Section 3. This coating does not pose a physical risk to health nor a risk to the environment when cured and dried.” |
